Language Courses

LANGUAGE COURSES ARE DIVIDED INTO LEVELS AS BY THE CEFR:

  • Beginners (A1, Livello di contatto)
  • Elementary (A2, Livello di sopravvivenza)
  • Lower Intermediate (B1, Livello soglia)
  • Mid-Intermediate (B1+/ B2, Livello progresso)
  • Upper Intermediate (B2 + Livello Intermedio Superiore)
  • Advanced (C1, Livello dell’efficacia)
  • Post advanced (C2, Livello di padronanza)


Before enrolling in language courses non-beginning students will be able to take a placement test.

The duration of the courses is 60 hours of frontal lessons, from October to May, 2 hours a week (18:00 – 20:00 or 18:30 - 20:30).

For the teenage courses the hours are in the afternoon (16:00-18:00).

The lessons are conducted in Italian. A lesson lasts for 60 minutes. No diploma or certificate is required for admission.

The administration reserves the right to modify the above calendar and cancel those courses which do not reach the minimum number of 4 students.

The school will be closed:

During the following civil and religious holidays: 8 December (Immaculate Conception), 25 December (Christmas), 26 December (Saint Stephen), 1 January (New year), 6 January (Epiphany), 6 April (Easter Monday), 1 May (Labor Day), 2 June (Republic Day), 29 June (Saints Peter and Paul).

Lessons coinciding with these dates will not be make ­up.

For Christmas holidays from 24 December to 2 January and Easter vacation.

Other lesson that may be missed because of sudden events, will be make up.
